Ohio Valley students walking to help their school - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Bishop Donahue High School held it's 15th Annual 'Walk-A-Thon' Wednesday morning.

Over the past couple weeks the students recruited friends, family and community members to sponsor them in a 5K walk through the town of McMechen.

The event has become a major fundraiser for the school as the students hope to raise about 10 thousand dollars this year.

Money raised will help with overall school operations such as technology upgrades and the schools I-Pad program.
