
Three people are facing drug charges after a woman was found passed out in a Steubenville Wal-Mart parking lot.
According to police, the woman, Kacie Crawford was found outside a car in a Wal-Mart parking lot Wednesday night due to an overdose of heroin. When police arrived they searched the vehicle where they found various drug instruments.
Police say a witness saw a man flushing bags of heroin down a toilet inside the Wal-Mart.
Daniel Winland, one of the persons involved, is charged with tampering of evidence and given a $10,000 bond. Timothea Gamble, the third individual involved, is charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and permitting drug abuse. Gamble was given a $5,000 bond.
Crawford was transported to Trinity Hospital for treatment and following her release was taken to the Jefferson County Jail according to authorities. She is charged with possession of drugs and given a $5,000 bond.
