Restaurants at The Highlands opened their doors early for hungry shoppers Friday morning. McDonalds and Bob Evans opened their doors at 2 o'clock.
Customers at McDonald's were lined up in the drive thru and at the doors with anticipation. The restaurant opened 20 minutes early to accommodate their customers needs.
Across the street at Bob Evans, 40 people waited in line for the restaurant's opening.
Both restaurants had extra employees on hand today in anticipation for the crowds.
To prepare for the crowds, restaurants looked at last year's sales, employees scheduled and what they can do to make it a fun experience.
The management staff is also very grateful to all the employees who showed up, especially during the early morning hours.
