The Magnolia Blue Eagles watched their season come to an end after a 27-yard field goal by Wahama's Zack Walmsley with 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter, as the White Falcons punched their ticket to the Class A State Championship game next Saturday at Wheeling Island Stadium with a 10-7 victory over No.2 Magnolia.
The loss snapped a 11-game winning streak.
Magnolia's Tanner Hanna scored the Blue Eagles' lone touchdown on a one-yard quarterback sneak in the second quarter, giving Big Blue a 7-0 halftime lead.
But Wahama's Trenton Gibbs connected with Crandale Neal on a 54-yard touchdown strike to the game at 7-7 early in the third quarter.
The game remained tied until Walmsley's game-winning kick.
The undefeated, No.3 White Falcons (13-0), advanced to the Class A State Final where they'll take on Weirton Madonna (12-1) next Saturday night at 7 p.m.
