Wheeling police arrested three people from Columbus after responding to an alleged shoplifting incident at Wal-Mart at the Highlands around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said they pulled over a car driven by Janika Johnson. Also in the car were Kasie Morgan and a juvenile male. They found more than $800 worth of allegedly stolen merchandise in the car including six pairs of headphones, eleven pre-paid mobile phones, four Nintendo DS game systems, clothing and two bags of potato chips.
Ohio County Magistrate Joe Roxby says Morgan is facing a felony charge of third offense shoplifting. Her bond was set at $5,000.
Johnson is being charged with possession of an anti-theft removal device. They are both being held in the Northern Regional Jail, and the juvenile male is being held in the juvenile detention center.
