Deer Gun season opened in the Buckeye State Monday morning.
This year's hunting season is expected to draw about 42,000 hunters.
The season will run through Dec. 2 and will include an extra weekend of hunting starting December 15.
Deer can be hunted with a muzzle loader, handgun or shotgun from a half hour before sunrise to sunset.
If hunters have any extra venison, they are asked to donate it to organizations helping Ohioans in need.
Hunting brings in over $850 million into the Buckeye State each year.
