The St. Clairsville Red Devils football team will play for a state championship later this week. The community is showing overwhelming support for the team as they prepare for the big game.
Restaurants, law offices, and banks across town are donned with signs, messages and posters wishing the team the best of luck in the game against Clinton-Massie on Friday.
A.J. Zambito of Grindhouse Coffee and Tea Company on Main Street says the way the community has come together is something special.
"Take something like this it's really special and everybody is real excited around town there is not a sole that you can ask that's unaware of what's going on," said Zambito.
Community members are planning to send the team off in style on Friday.
