Possible drowning victim sent to hospital - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A person was sent to the hospital after possibly drowning in the Elk River, under Spring Street Bridge.

A call was made to 9-1-1 that a person was in the river near 4533 Spring Street in Charleston just after midnight early Thursday morning.

Police say alcohol was involved.

There's no word on the extent of the victim's injuries.
