WHEELING -
Wheeling Police are investigating after a man was knocked unconscious in Warwood in an alleged fight Wednesday night.
According to police, they arrived at a Warwood Avenue business on shortly after 7 p.m. to find an unconscious man lying in the parking lot.
Witnesses say the man had confronted another man and an argument began and that it escalated into a physical confrontation.
The man who initiated the fight was knocked to the ground and transported to a local hospital by the Wheeling Fire Department to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
There is no word on Thursday morning if charges will be filed.
