MARTINSBURG (AP) — Three people from North Carolina and New York have pleaded guilty to using counterfeit credit cards to obtain thousands of dollars in cash advances at a West Virginia casino.
Thirty-five-year-old Tericka Grady of Castle Hayne, N.C., pleaded guilty Thursday before a federal magistrate in Martinsburg to use of a counterfeit access device.
Two co-defendants, 38-year-old Carlo Gause of Wilmington, N.C., and 38-year-old Dwayne Fleming of Brooklyn, N.Y., entered similar pleas on Wednesday.
The incidents occurred in 2010 at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
Under plea agreements, U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld says Gause will pay $155,300 in restitution to the casino. Fleming will pay $34,000 in restitution and Grady will pay $10,000.
