Verizon Wireless celebrates new 4G LTE in Ohio Valley - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Verizon Wireless at the Highlands held a special event Saturday to celebrate 4G LTE coming to the Wheeling area.

The first 50 customers to visit the store were given a specially wrapped chocolate bar. One bar contained a "golden ticket" and the recipient was given a free smart phone, the Droid RAZR M by Motorola.

Store Manager, Bill Wasco, says Verizon customers in the area will enjoy much faster downloading speeds with the 4G LTE Network.

Wasco says there is a huge difference as far as lifestyle, the 4G is up to 10 times faster than 3G.
