Steel Workers Will Ponder Esmark Contract on Tuesday - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

    New details have emerged about the tentative agreement between Esmark and United Steelworkers Local 1223 in Yorkville.

    Union President Jerry Conners says they now have meeting times to explain a new contract to union members and then have the members vote.   

    Conners says they've been working on an agreement since June, and they've finally reached a contract with Esmark to pass along for USW members to review and decide whether or not to pass. Conners says the explanation meeting is set for Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the fire hall in Yorkville.
