St.Clairsville's Marhefka Named Athlete of the Week - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

St.Clairsville senior receiver Jerrid Marhefka has been selected as the WTRF/Robinson Auto Group Athlete of the Week.

Marhefka  caught nine passes for a state-record 272 yards and four touchdowns in the Red Devils' 46-36 loss in the Division 4 State Championship Game at Canton's Fawcett Stadium.

Marhefka finished the season with 36 catches for just under 1,000 yards (983) with 12 touchdowns. 

He also played five games this season with a cast on his hand.
