Preliminary hearing for man accused of killing woman with car

WTRF.com is learning new details on the case against a Morgantown man accused of homicide by vehicle after he was involved in an accident that killed a St. Clairsville woman.

On Wednesday, December 5th, John Cruse will have his preliminary hearing in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Cruse was behind the wheel when his car rear-ended 49 year-old Cynthia Bittengle on I-79 in March of 2012.

Bittengle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cruse now facing charges of homicide by vehicle, failure to drive at a safe speed, and careless and reckless driving.
