The Ohio Valley is a little brighter Wednesday after two communities celebrated their light up nights.
In Moundsville, Gold, Khourey & Turak hosted their 10th annual light up night.
Children and parents packed into the law offices to enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and a visit with Santa. Christmas carols were sung by the Opus Music Club.
At dark, West Virginia State Auditor Glen B. Gainer assisted in lighting the tree.
Later in the evening in Warwood, the Lions Club hosted their third annual light up night in Garden Park.
The Corpus Christi choir sang carols while the crowd counted down to the lighting of the park.
Both events have grown every year since they started.
