The driver of the car involved in a one-car crash on State Route 78 has been identified as 35-year-old Jenny Johnson of Woodsfield.

Emergency responders had to cut a woman out of a car at the site of a one-car crash on State Route 78 near the Swiss Hills Vocational School on Thursday.

The Woodsfield Fire Department and emergency squads were on the scene of the crash and a call for lifeflight was eventually called off after the situation was deemed not critical. The driver was transported to Wetzel County Hospital. Stay tuned to WTRF for more details as they emerge.
