Nailers Fall 4-3 To Florida In A Shoot Out - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The Wheeling Nailers had their two game win streak snapped in a 4-3 shoot out loss to the Florida Everblades.

The Everblades jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period.

Wheeling would tie the game with :30 seconds remaining, sending the game to overtime,  on Chris Higgins first goal as a member of the Nailers.

The Everblades Brayden Irwin would be the only skater to score in the shoot out.

The Nailers out shot the Everblades 44-17.
