John Marshall Girls Win Season-Opener - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The John Marshall girls basketball team made an impressive season-debut with a 73-34 victory over East Fairmont in Glen Dale on Saturday afternoon.

Freshen Torrie Derrow and Bailey Filben introduced themselves to Monarchs fans in a big way. In their first varsity action, Derrow scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Filben scored 17 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Senior Kylie Howard contributed 18 points and five boards, and junior Emily Winters added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
