
One person is behind bars after a routine traffic stop in Cadiz led to a drug arrest.
According to Officer Carter with the Cadiz K-9 unit, he was called in after police pulled over Charles Hython on Jamison Ave. in Cadiz while he was pulling into his residence.
Hython was found to be driving under a suspended license.
When Officer Carter arrived the dog searched the car and found marijuana and Percocet pills.
After police questioned Hython further, he turned over additional marijuana, pills and a scale.
Hython admitted he was planning to sell the drugs.
Hython was arrested for possession with intent to sell and also on additional warrants on separate charges.
He is in the Harrison County Jail until he faces a judge on Monday.
