Feisley's Continues Tree Tradition for Another Year

Posted: Updated:

Feisley's Tree Farm in Belmont County is helping families across the Ohio Valley kick-off the holiday season for another year.

At Feisley's, visitors are able to head into the tree field and cut down their own tree.

The most popular trees this year are the Fraser Furs and Scotch Pines.

Theresa and Geoff Feisley, owners and operators of the tree farm, say even though the area hasn't seen snow yet this year, families are still in the holiday spirit and business is booming for them.

"We've been blessed with good weather, the tractors get in and out of the field much more easily," said Geoff Feisley.

Theresa Feisley said more now than ever people are looking for traditions to hang onto and there's nothing more fun than coming out and picking your Christmas tree, which is what many families already do.

Samantha Thomspon said her family goes on her birthday every year to get their tree, it's a tradition.

"This is our 21st year coming to Feisley's," said customer Mike Eskridge.

"We come every year, we love the Feisley's, they're just great people." Eskridge added.

Feisley's ask that if you got your tree there this year, that once you have it up and decorated to share a picture on their Facebook page.
