Local Basketball Coach Faces Child Pornography Charges dover - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A local basketball coach and referee is facing child pornography charges.

Thomas E. Wright, 32, of Dover, was arrested on a secret indictment Friday after a 10-month investigation by the SPII task force.

During the investigation, a homemade video featuring a 16-year-old male was found on Wright's computer along with downloaded child pornography images and videos.

Wright had previously coached basketball for Riverview Schools, Indian Valley, and AAU teams along with refereeing.

He remains in Tuscarawas County Jail until his arraignment.
