ArtsLink will offer a free presentation of "Through the Eye of the Needle, the Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitz" at 6:30 p.m. May 13 at the Francis Creative Arts Center, located at the corner of Maple Avenue and Washington Street in New Martinsville. Light refreshments will be served.

Jazz Orchestra will perform its holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at Greenbrier Valley Theatre
in Lewisburg.
The concert, under the leadership of Jeff Bryant, will offer
will jazz standards like "Baby, It's Cold Outside," " Makin' Whoopee" and "I've
Got a Gal in Kalamazoo." The show
will include a contemporary set, with songs like "Dance to the Music," "Soul
Man," and "Hip to be Square." It will be complete with seasonal favorites like
"The Christmas Song," "Santa Baby" and "White Christmas."
Also featured in the concert are Cathey Sawyer, the
orchestra's vocalist; The Greenbrier Entertainers; and Brennan Woods, a trumpeter
with the West Virginia University Marching Band.
