Bridgeport Police turned up no legitimate threat after a search of the Bridgeport Post Office.

More details have emerged in the Bridgeport Post Office threat.
According to police, the threat was received by phone earlier Thursday afternoon. Police then immediately led two employees out the back door of the office to safety.

Local police and a bomb squad from Columbus are on the scene after a threat of an undisclosed nature was reported at the Bridgeport Post Office.
Bridgeport Police Chief Andrew Klotz tells WTRF news partner WKKX's John Blackmore that Howard Street in Bridgeport will be shut down in response to the incident.
