Managing Director of Green Business Introduces LED and Induction Lighting for Increased Safety, Savings and Sustainability
Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) December 29, 2012
Energy Saving Solutions recently worked with the Ritz Carlton in Jupiter, Florida, introducing LED and induction lighting into all of their outdoor areas, roadways, landscapes, and more for an anticipated savings of $270,597 over the useful life of these lights.
Recently purchased from the Marriott Corporation by The Trump Organization in early December, this beautiful, upscale community is now benefiting from brighter and more efficient lighting. The residence of Ritz-Carlton is expected to save 46% from Energy Saving Solutions’ exterior lighting Retrofit.
The residents of this upscale community had, in the past, complained of poor lighting and visibility. The lights installed by Energy Saving Solutions are about 30% brighter, yet use 46% less energy and last over ten times longer than the metal laide lights that had previously been installed.
Based on the operational hours of the Ritz-Carlton’s outdoor lighting, these induction lights are expected to last 24.7 years, providing the Ritz with almost 25 years of maintenance-free lighting.
As an upscale golfing community, special attention is paid to landscaping projects. Now the beautiful, lush tree canopies and other landscapes are more brilliantly and beautifully illuminated.
These LED and induction lights not only provide safety and energy cost savings, they are also environmentally friendly. They will reduce 1,254,269 pounds of carbon emissions alone, the equivalent of planting 171 acres of trees.
Peter Stein, the Managing Director of Energy Saving Solutions says, “Energy Saving Solutions is incredibly excited to be involved in this project for several reasons, including the safety and aesthetic upgrades we have provided for this community, as well as the benefits of providing a more sustainable lighting solution that reduces carbon emissions and protects our environment. We look forward to working with many other Ritz-Carltons and Trump properties to effect similar changes and provide similar benefits in the future.”
