Ohio Will Receive Federal Aid for Sandy Damage - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

President Obama is declaring Ohio to be a major disaster area following Superstorm Sandy.

Now, federal aid will be issued to help recovery efforts in areas affected by the storm.

Federal funds will be available on a cost-sharing basis for state and local governments.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich requested the federal disaster declaration on Dec. 21.
