Paul Crowder's first-career hat trick led the Wheeling Nailers to a 5-0 victory over the Trenton Titans at WesBanco Arena.
All three of Crowder's goals (14) came in the first period, and gives him the team lead in goals. It's the Nailers first hat trick since Chris Barton scored three times against Trenton last October.
Ben Farrer scored his first goal of the season, and Scott Zurevinski contributed a three-point night with a goal (8) and two assists.
Scott Darling made 27 saves for the shutout.
