Funds Sent to Steubenville Rape Victim Being Donated to Women's Shelter

Contributions to help pay for counsel for the victim in the Steubenville rape case have been pouring in from people wanting to help, but her attorney, Bob Fitzsimmons is doing the case pro bono.

Fitzsimmons appeared on CNN's Piers Morgan show and said that since he isn't charging his client, any funds sent to help pay for attorney fees will go to the Madden House in Wheeling, an emergency safe-shelter for women who are rebuilding their lives.

Patricia Flanigan, with the YWCA, says she was surprised to hear the name of her organization on CNN, but said she, as well as Fitzsimmons, hope this can be a positive outcome of the rape case that has gained national attention.
