MARTINSBURG -

Student competitors from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College recently took top honors during the recent Cisco NetRiders competition. 

The intensive, academic challenge included five Blue Ridge students in the finale along with 89 others from across the state. 

Benedikt Ott finished in first place. Others placing within the West Virginia competition: Tom Rebuck (second); Joshua Rener (third); Derek O'Donnel (fourth) and Aaron Breeden (fifth).

Ott then advanced onto the international round of competition, placing seventh and winning a $200 gift card.
