Green Appears in Court to Face Charges on Sept Hit and Run Case - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The suspect in a fatal hit and run accident in Belmont County appeared in court Thursday to face charges. Fifty-six year-old Robert Green of St. Clairsville is charged with one count of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of hit and skip after he allegedly hit Jason Cattane with his car and left him to die along Route 40 in September 2012. 

Cattane's father, David Cattane, says he is relieved to see Green in court facing charges. 

"Finally after five months, finally get some justice out of it, I think," he said. 

Green was represented by Bob Quirk in his initial hearing, but has obtained legal counsel from a Cambridge attorney. He is free on $25,000 bond.
