A Consol Energy representative has confirmed that one person is dead after an incident near Loveridge Preparation Plant in Marion County.
The deceased person was performing work as an "independent of Consol Energy."
State and Federal Agencies have been notified and are expected to arrive this morning.
The Marion County 911 Center confirmed Monday night that fire, law enforcement and EMS services are at the scene at the Loveridge Mine in Fairview, Marion County.
The Office of Emergency Management is also on scene.
According to the 911 center, a call came in around 6 p.m. for a "car accident on mine property."
The Fairview Fire Department has confirmed that the incident involves a bulldozer.
WTRF.com has learned the machine rolled down a hillside several times and that the worker was trapped beneath the 18,000-pound bulldozer.
Marion County 911 has confirmed the medical examiner was called to the scene.
