Wheeling Central's Harler Named Athlete of the Week - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Wheeling Central fab freshman Chase Harler has been selected as the WTRF/Robinson Auto Group Athlete of the Week.

Harler, who was recently inserted into the starting lineup, had a pair of 30-point games last week.

Harler scored 34 points, in a loss, in his first city-rivalry clash with Wheeling Park. That game seemed to give the youngster the confidence to help lead his Maroon Knights to a pair of victories over the weekend. Harler scored 13 points on Friday night in a win over Conotton Valley, and came back to drop 30 points in leading the Knights to a win over Morgantown Trinity on Saturday afternoon.

The improving Maroon Knights also upset Steubenville Central on Tuesday night 59-42. Harler led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
