It was a scary evening for two teenagers in St. Albans
The girls were trying to cross Ferrel Road in their Ford Ranger but didn't realize how deep the water was.
It happened around 4:45 p.m.
Members of the Lakewood Fire Department was able to wade up to the vehicle and rescue the girls. Luckily there were no injuries.
Fire fighters are renewing their warnings to drivers, if you see water on the roadway, find another route.
