    CHARLESTON, WV — West Virginia's Division of Culture and History will celebrate the traditional music of West Virginia on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25, at the Culture Center during the 37th annual Vandalia Gathering. The family-friendly event is free.

Kristy Jackson will be on stage Feb. 2 at the Clay Center in Charleston as part of the Woody Hawley Concert Series with opening act Emily Burdette.

Cheryl Wheeler is scheduled to appear March 9 with opening act Colleen Anderson and George Castelle.

Jonathan Edwards will sing April 6 with opening act The Sea The Sea.

The season finale will be Peter Yarrow on May 11 with opening act Mustard's Retreat.

The monthly Saturday night shows take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Clay Center's Walker Theater. Tickets are $18-$20.
