Yorkville Blaze Caught Early, Damage Contained - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A minor fire broke out this morning in Yorkville, prompting residents of an apartment to try and put the flames out themselves.

According to fire crews, the fire was reported by a passerby who saw flames at 111 Sinclair Avenue.

Martins Ferry fire crews were called out as a precaution, but luckily the fire was contained to one room.

Crews were able to get the fire out fast and no injuries are reported.
