Two people charged in connection with a heroin bust were arraigned this morning by Ohio County Magistrate Joe Roxby.
Shawn L. McClain and Chaunita R. Williams both appeared for a video arraignment from the Northern Regional Jail.
Sunday night, police stopped a Chevrolet Impala traveling on Wheeling Island and say they found 15 grams of marijuana in William's purse and two bags of heroin inside a McDonald's bag possessed by McClain, as well as $,1400.
The two said they were traveling home from Cleveland.
Both were arrested. Williams was charged with possession of a controlled substance and placed under $2,000 bond, and McClain was charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin and placed under $20,000.
