Wheeling Man Accused in Purse Theft Hartung Main St. Matthew - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A North Wheeling man is behind bars this morning.

At around 8 a.m. Tuesday, Wheeling police served a warrant on 19-year-old Matthew R. Hartung.
Hartung is facing charges of an un-armed robbery on January 7 in the 400 block of Main Street when he allegedly stole a woman's purse.

He was arraigned this morning by Magistrate Joe Roxby. He is being held in the Northern Regional Jail on a $20,000, full cash-only bond.
