
Mingo Junction's residents and employees have been hit hard financially and now they are feeling the effect of personnel cuts being made.
One department facing some serious personnel cuts is the fire department, which now has only three full-time and a handful of part-time employees.
The Mingo Safety Forces Association Local No. 1 and village agreed on a memorandum of understanding which will cut pay, shift differential, holiday pay, vacation time and education benefits.
