The Belmont County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in the January 12 armed robbery of Bob's Cheap Smokes.
Sheriff Dave Lucas says the man went back to the scene of the crime, and this time he bought something.
As he left the store, employees, who say they recognized him, made a quick call to 911, and moments later, officers from St. Clairsville Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol nabbed the suspect, who was parked outside Auto Zone.
36-year-old Benjamin Fador is in jail charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
His bond is set at $20,000. The sheriff says the investigation continues.
