Belmont County is now under a Level 1 road advisory.
UPDATE 1 P.M:
More snow reports are coming in. Just before 1 p.m., Weirton Heights checked in with 3.2 inches of fresh snow.
A weather spotter in Bethany reported 2 inches.
Richmond, OH reports 3 inches.
Bergholz, OH reports 2.5 inches of snow.
Wellsville has 2.5 inches of snow.
The StormTracker meteorologists say another inch or so of snow is possible. Road conditions are reported as "Fair" along Interstate 70, although drivers are urged to use caution while traveling and to leave plenty of space between themselves and other vehicles.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for the entire WTRF viewing area. The advisory remains in effect until 1 a.m. Saturday.
Snow is expected to accumulate 1-3 inches Friday afternoon and will end by evening.
Guernsey County is currently under a Level 1 road advisory.
A winter weather advisory means that snowfall will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibility.
