West Virginia-based law firm Jackson Kelly PLLC donated $12,500 to West Virginia University Hospitals-East to assist in its Time Saves Lives capital campaign, the hospital announced Jan. 25.

The $3 million capital campaign's goal is to raise money to help pay for facility and service upgrades at both Martinsburg's City Hospital and Jefferson Memorial Hospital, which is in Ranson.

The public phase of the Time Saves Lives campaign kicked off in mid-November. So far, $2.1 million has been pledged toward the overall goal, according to a news release from WVU Hospitals-East.

Jackson Kelly is headquartered in Charleston and has offices in Clarksburg, Martinsburg, Morgantown and Wheeling, as well as Denver, Colo.; Washington, D.C.; Evansville and Indianapolis, Ind.; Lexington, Ky.; Canton, Ohio; and Pittsburgh.
