The well-rested Magnolia Blue Eagles pulled away from Wheeling Central in the second half, en route to a 82-66 victory in New Martinsville on Saturday night.
The Maroon Knights, playing 24 hours after a hard-fought win at Linsly on Friday night, were led in scoring by freshman Chase Harler with 25 points. Junior guard David Park scored 17 points, after hanging 31 on Linsly on Friday.
Balance scoring paced the Blue Eagles, who were playing for the first time in eight days, due to snow-outs this week. Senior Mark Winters and junior Zach Wilhoit each poured in 25 points, while senior Stephen Rogalski scored 19 points, before fouling out. Freshman Preston Boswell added 13 points.
