A Wheeling man has been sentenced to 15 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Shawn L. Binkowski, 25, admitted he possessed a pistol on September 16, 2012 in Wheeling. He was previously convicted on charges of grand larceny.
Binkowski was remanded to the custody of U.S. Marshals pending transfer to prison.
