The Wheeling Park cheerleaders captured a 16th OVAC cheerleading championship on Saturday afternoon at WesBanco Arena.

The Patriots knocked off rivals, and the defending 5-A champion Brooke Bruins, who finished as runner-up.

The St.Clairsville Red Devils made it six straight OVAC 4-A titles.

The Tyler Consolidated cheerleaders repeated in Class 3-A.

The Toronto Red Knights won 2-A, with Wheeling Central finishing as runner-up. Toronto winning a fifth championship in the past six years.

Bishop Donahue repeated as Class A champions.
