In a celebration of art, community, and exploration, The Crucible is proud to present its third annual Fireside Lounge series: ‘Conception-Creation-Curation,’ beginning on February 15, 2013. The first installment of the series, ‘Conception,’ will explore how materials, experience, and the world around us inspire artistic ideas. Live performances, art demonstrations, and cocktails will round out the evening.
This year’s Fireside Lounge series gathers artists, makers, and community members for in-depth discussions surrounding the artistic process. Paneled by world-class industrial and fine artists, the February event features lively discussions and art demonstrations in moldmaking, ceramics, blacksmithing, jewelry, and more. The event also features an art show called Raw Material, highlighting renowned faculty works, and discounts on Crucible classes.
Fireside Lounge is an extraordinary opportunity to learn more about The Crucible’s incredible artists, educational opportunities, and community at-large. Whether you’re interested in lively art discussions, a fiery Valentines Day weekend retreat, or meeting interesting, artistically inclined friends, Fireside Lounge offers something for everyone.
