The annual trade show for gift and souvenir buyers at Pipestem State Park, scheduled this year for Feb. 4-6, will bring wholesale vendors and gift shop buyers together under one roof for three days.

"It is a wholesale shopping venue for any retail sales gift shop or business looking for items," said Pipestem's Teresa Mansfield. "The marketplace is at McKeever Lodge with easy access under one roof for interaction between buyers and sellers."

Buyers must register in advance or at the door. There is no charge for buyers to attend. The Marketplace features more than 50 vendors with items ranging from glass, shirts and caps, wood works, novelty items and apparel to West Virginia products. The event draws buyers from tourist attractions, state parks and a variety of retail shop buyers looking for new souvenir, novelty items, and gift-type items for retail sales.

The Marketplace starts Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and runs through noon Feb. 6. The agenda includes opportunities for buyers and vendors to network as well as one-on-one appointments and merchandising discussions. A vendors list is available. Coffee and light refreshments are provided each day.

A registration form is online at www.pipestemresort.com and click on Registration Form. Pre-registration by phone is also welcomed or buyers can register upon arrival Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Overnight accommodations are available.
