Homeless West Virginian Being Hailed as a Hero Kai Sophia - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A homeless man claiming to be from Sophia, West Virginia, has become famous on the Internet after giving a colorful interview with a news team in Fresno California.

The man, who only identifies himself as Kai, is being credited with saving at least one man's life when the driver of a vehicle he was riding in drove into an electrical worker, pinning him against a pole.

Kai says he also used the blunt end of a hatchet to stop the driver from attacking a woman who was trying to help.
