New details have emerged in the case of the Four Paws Animal Rescue in Neffs, where about 50 animals were found last year, starving and emaciated, without food or water.
Belmont County Western Division Court Judge Eric Costine has dismissed the charges against Carmen and Christopher Wallace.
The court entry says that the dismissal has been agreed on by the prosecution and the defense.
Earlier, the judge ruled that all the prosecution's evidence in the case, stemming from a search warrant, was to be suppressed.
The animals seized in a raid, numerous dogs, cats and one horse, were rehabilitated by the Belmont County Animal Rescue League and have been adopted.
