Dr. Larry Rhodes has been selected the 2013 Rural Health Practitioner of the Year.

Dr. Charles L. Rosen has been selected chairman of the West Virginia University Department of Neurosurgery.
Rosen, who also holds a Ph.D., has served as interim chairman of the department since September 2011.
He joined the faculty at WVU in 2001 and has served in various positions in the department since that time, including vice chairman, director of research and the neurosurgical research laboratories, director of cranial base surgery and program director for residency in neurological surgery.
