Antonio "Smiley" Johnson was found guilty of attempted murder and three other charges on Thursday afternoon by a Jefferson County jury.
Other charges Johnson was convicted of included felonious assault with gun and gang specifications, having a weapon as a convicted felon, and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle

A Jefferson County jury is meeting behind closed doors Thursday to come up with a verdict in the case of Antonio "Smiley" Johnson.
Johnson is charged with single counts of attempted murder and felonious assault, with gun and gang specifications, having a weapon as a convicted felon and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle for an incident that took place on July 2.
The trial began Tuesday in Jefferson County Common Pleas Court and is being overseen by judge Joseph Bruzzese Jr.
Prosecutor Jane Hanlin and Defense Attorney Steven stickles presented their closing arguments early Thursday morning.
