A Glen Dale man is now facing felony charges after Wheeling Police respond to a domestic incident that happened early Saturday morning in Wheeling.
They say Christopher Gyorko slammed his girlfriend's head into the dashboard of his car multiple times after the couple argued over a cell phone. According to reports, Gyorko grabbed her throat when she tried to call 911.
He's now facing malicious wounding charges, and a third offense domestic battery charge. Gyorko's bond was set at $50,000 for each charge by Ohio County Magistrate Joe Roxby.
He's being held in the Northern Regional Jail. Gyorko has a previous felony conviction as well.
